Youwill assist with systems administration, research and development, systemsengineering, and enhancement/expansion to a new mission system leveragingpublic cloud services. In this role you will also bring new enhancement ideasand perspectives to an already approved internet-based solution to support aCyber Program. The engineer will work in an operational environment that ishighly reliant on public cloud and related emerging technologies. The candidatewill be expected to work independently and in a team to provision cloudresources based on mission requirements. The candidate will be responsible forassisting with daily O&M of existing public cloud hosted resources such asvirtual machines, network configurations, storage volumes, encryption keys andVPN instances. In this role you will: Be involved with O&M and make enhancements to existing public cloud infrastructure Contribute to the development of Windows, Linux, or cloud-based scripts for automation and DevOps purposes Customize and configure COTS products, as needed Conduct rapid internet based research on a wide ranges of mission related topics Configure of cloud hosted load balancers, routing tables, NAT gateways, VPC peering connections, VPN appliances, and other cloud-related laaS services Coordinate with senior managers, technical personnel, analysts, partners, and customers Qualifications Must hold an active TS/SCI & Poly Bachelor's degree in a technical field and nine (9) years or more experience. Additional experience or certifications can waive degree requirement. Demonstrated experience in the development of Windows, Linux, or cloud-based scripts for automation and DevOps purposes Demonstrated experience working with Amazon Marketplace AMI's or MS Azure Templates Demonstrated experience in contributing to a full range of architectural and engineering documentation, such as SOPs, inventory spreadsheets, SSP's or other related program documentation Demonstrated experience with conducting root cause analysis to quickly troubleshoot issues Demonstrated experience with Android mobile emulation platforms (such as: GenyMotion, Bluestacks, Android Studio) Demonstrated experience with updating Windows host-based and/or endpoint protection software Demonstrated experience with Windows networking to include manually configuring IPv4 TCP/IP and DNS settings, network sharing, and disabling/locking down unnecessary communications (wi-fi, bluetooth, etc) SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's most complex modernization and readiness challenges.
