Social Media Coordinator Job Summary:

Sparks Group is looking for an experienced and self-driven Social Media Coordinator to work a full-time, fully remote position through the end of the year. As the Social Media Coordinator, you will develop the social media presence for the company. Your work will include creating content for social media channels, optimizing campaigns and reporting on campaign effectiveness. You will use your deep understanding of social media channels, your social media writing skills and experience in creating visual assets to advance the presence of the company and inform the public.

Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • You will create comprehensive integrated social media and content marketing content.
  • Partner with our Health Officer, Public Information Officer, and Project Manager to identify opportunities for social media engagement, acquire and curate content, and manage the syndication of content to externally available social media channels.
  • Identify ways to maximize and leverage social/content marketing in advertising, media relations, digital, direct, experiential and other forms of marketing.
  • Ensure that content and the social ‘voice' are consistent with the company brand and an extension of an integrated communication effort.
  • Utilize appropriate analytics and tracking services to monitor and optimize performance, including audience growth and engagement. Provide bi-weekly updates to team and leadership.
  • Identify new/emerging social platforms that serve the goals of the agency.
  • Gather and organize information to plan advertising campaigns for COVID-19 (Wearing a facemask, washing hands, social distancing, COVID-19 testing, contact tracing).
  • Plan and prepare advertising and promotional materials for COVID-19 prevention messaging on social media platforms (flyers, infographics, videos).
  • Create a Youtube Channel for the company.
  • Create social media post on all platforms about company events and updates.
  • Monitor the company's social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users.

Social Media Coordinator Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with directly managing integrated social and content marketing programs.
  • Strong writing skills for social media channels and ability to create visual assets for the channels including basic video editing, Photoshop, and graphic creation.
  • Experience in health communications preferred.
  • Experience with Social Media Administrative and Content Management Tools as well as platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and You Tube.
  • Solid grasp of various social media analytics platforms, with the ability to source and summarize applicable data.
  • Experienced in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work cross-functionally in a large matrix organization.
