Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Dietetic Assistant who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. Dietetic Assistant provides hospitality services to patients for meal selection, tray build, tray delivery and pickup and ensure a high level of patient satisfaction with all aspects of the patient meal service. Interacts with nursing and other department team members. Discusses, guides and records Patient meal order. This position includes but is not limited to, preparing patients trays, helping patients with menu selection, meal delivery, pick-up and clean-up. Experience in food service preferred but is not required. Basic computer knowledge and computer use preferred.

The Dietetic Assistant must have:
* The ability to follow written instructions when using cleaning products.
* Must be able to follow policies and procedures relating to food service, especially in the
areas of sanitation.

Qualified candidates will possess:
• High School diploma or GED.
• One (1) year of relevant hospital setting preferred.
• Proficiency in English/ Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Food Handlers Certification helpful.

Work Schedule:

Schedule will include a mix of AM and PM Shifts. AM- 6:30am-3pm PM- 11:30am-8pm and every other weekends.
