Dining Services Associate Director for Finance

The University of Maryland College Park is seeking an experienced finance and accounting professional to join the senior leadership of an award winning dining program with annual revenues of over $70 million and over 1600 team members. The position offers a competitive salary, based on skill and experience, between $113,000 and $140,000 PLUS AN OUTSTANDING BENEFIT PACKAGE including almost 8 weeks of paid annual, holiday and personal leave per year plus retirement, tuition remission and more.

Reporting to the Director, The Associate Director will serve as the CFO of a multiiunit dining program and oversee the operation of the department IT operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business with Finance or Accounting emphasis and 10 years of progressively responsible leadership in a high volume financial or accounting environment at least 5o of which were at a senior level with supervisory responsibility.

PREFERENCES: Advanced Degree or CPA. Advanced accounting experience and information systems background. Working knowledge of KFS, PHR, eiProcurement and University or government budgeting and accounting.

The position is primarily Monday to Friday but may require an occasional weekend or evening during large campus special events including home football games. The position requires filing a yearly Financial Disclosure statement with the Maryland State Ethics Commission and a yearly Professional Outside Activities Report with the campus.
