This Video-teleconference (VTC) Coordinator must be familiar with video-teleconferencing network equipment, associated scheduling and suite testing operations. The VTC Coordinator shall ensure leadership is placed into a functional and coordinated VTC session. The VTC coordinator will act as a liaison between Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC) and the U.S. Army VTC Team to expeditiously schedule, coordinate and complete VTC calls, along with troubleshooting any equipment or connectivity issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and operate VTC/AV conferences.
  • Responsible for starting and powering off all VTC /AV equipment for sessions and conducting audio visual checks prior to each conference.
  • Serve as primary AV equipment operator for VTC conferences.
  • Coordinate and implement scheduling, recording and teleconferencing sessions as required.
  • Serve as initial responder to customer requests regarding VTC/AV issues.
  • Schedule rooms via email, phone or walk in requests.
  • Must be able to quickly diagnose technical issues, whether they fall locally or outside of our control, like a network or gateway.
  • Must understand Point-to-Point VTC calls/conferences and setting up for accessing a Bridge in the VTC call conference
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • 2 years of technical experience in a similar VTC environment preferred
  • Secret Clearance Required

  • Leadership and self-direction skills are highly desired.
  • Ability to solve complex problems using creative thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to critically analyze and understand the systems and communicate system requirements or shortfalls to the customer and leadership.
  • Ability to travel, as required.
  • Ability to meet eligibility requirements of a government security clearance for access to classified information.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, to include MS Outlook, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint and VISIO

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
