Job Description- Legal Assistant I:This position supports the DOJ- Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR)- Board of Immigration Appeals. The primary purpose of the position is to facilitate acquisition of immigration court records for certification and upload to various federal circuit courts. Attention to detail and an understanding of litigation is essential. Tasks will include but not be limited to: Performs any combination of following to ensure legal documents are properly formatted and thoroughly proofread for punctuation, spelling, and grammar and produce final documents that are error free. Accurately prepare appropriate legal documents in final form in accordance with rules governing style and format.
