Sales Job Description The Inside Architectural Sales Representative candidate will Generate sales through follow-up, service, and support to the clients for the success of their projects; Be a strong and effective communicator on phone & via emails; Review architectural plans to create estimates; Be detailed oriented to note conversations and bids into a CRM (Salesforce); Follow-up on leads to generate sales and support clients and contractors; Have a high sense of urgency, both while pursuing leads and within projects. Be willing to learn about specific sector and applications for surface materials within the industry. Skills and Experience A bachelors degree or equal experience in business, design, marketing, or similar fields. A broad and comprehensive knowledge of the architectural/ design/ building industry with a 3 years experience in successful product selling and consulting preferred. A proven track record of delivering sales results and of servicing and prospecting clients; A strong professional presence that includes excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to communicate with a variety of audiences at once, and critical and creative problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). The ability to read and understand floor plans and architectural drawings, as well as furniture specifications and scopes of work is a plus. Training provided on the job. Knowledge of CRMs (Salesforce) a plus.
