Responsibilities

Management Analysis, PD# 33099-0

Develops and implements successful onboarding and exiting processes for new and existing OGC customers. Manages new ideas to improve workflow, administrative processes in order to ease the burden on OGC employees and supervisors. Assists new employees throughout the new employee orientation process; including but not limited to greeting new employees, collecting onboarding documents, conducts training of new OGC employees and uses different practices in order to troubleshoot any onboarding issues. Manages new, transferring and exiting requests. Serves as a transit benefit coordinator in order to process transit documents overseeing program policies and procedures. Performs audits to make sure transit benefits are being managed correctly. Assists with transferring electronic equipment to new employees. Assists with organizational reviews and studies to plan for long-term changes to OGC's space requirements and utilization. Conducts research and analyze feedback about OGC onboarding processes. Assists in the development and formulation of OGC's annual budget submission and strategic workforce plan.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Assignments regularly involve long periods of standing, bending, and stooping to observe space management operations and equipment installations in the work area.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/30/2020.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a (GS-09) position you must have served 52 weeks at the (GS-07). The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials.

Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

Specialized Experience (GS-09):

Applicants must have One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-07) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
  • Experience using data collection and analysis principles (e.g., unique identifiers, data cleaning, processing errors) to enhance timeliness and accuracy of information in databases, cloud-based software, reporting applications, or knowledge management systems.
  • Experience using processes designed to improve workflow, task distribution or processes such as Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Process Improvement, or Systems Redesign.
  • Experience developing or managing a customer-facing process requiring skill in communicating in information and ideas via written, oral and visual media.
  • Experience using software programs to provide administrative support to order equipment, update accounts, manage help tickets, etc,
  • Experience in office administrative procedures, practices and policies and general office space management

master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
