Possess basic math skills, including fractions and the ability to read a tape measure Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Must have a good work history and attendance record We are currently hiring: Production Worker Responsibilities Understand that working safely while producing a quality product is the #1 priority Have previous production background (preferred) Ability to read and interpret job orders Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally up to 75 pounds Stand on feet for 10 hour shifts Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, HVAC diagnosis, piping and electrical systems. Studies blueprints, sketches, machine parts, or specifications to determine defective items and repairs needed. Visually inspects and tests machinery to detect or prevent wear, misalignment, or other problems. Detects equipment malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Realigns and adjusts equipment and components. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Assists engineering and production in modifications of machines and processes for improvement activities and launch of new equipment. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Lay out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structures at the MIC. Provide information to supervisor to initiate purchase orders for repair or replacement parts. Operate metal working tools and equipment to cut or join metal parts and components. Follows and communicates to others all applicable company rules and safety policies. Provides other maintenance, production, or operations support as directed by supervisor or management. Machine Operator Responsibilities Work safely and follow safety rules and procedures Read, understand and follow production schedules Process transactions Set up and adjust equipment; Gather materials as needed Perform quality checks Operate motorized equipment (ie forklift, KVAL lifts, etc) as needed Perform minor preventative maintenance and operator care as required Assist Management, Maintenance and Quality personnel when troubleshooting equipment, process or material issues Communicate effectively for flow of product through the mill Maintain downtime records and production information as appropriate Perform housekeeping duties Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned Wear appropriate personal protective equipment Forklift Operator Responsibilities: Work safely and follow safety rules and procedures Operate Forklift Job Requirements: Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required 1-2 Years in the field or related area
