POSITION SUMMARY This position relates to the regulatory compliance activities of Sands Capital Ventures, a SEC-registered investment adviser that sponsors and manages the firm's venture capital and private growth equity investment strategies. The Compliance Analyst will work directly with Sands Capital Ventures' General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer to implement, administer and oversee the adviser's regulatory compliance program. The Compliance Analyst will be exposed to all facets of the adviser's compliance program and will collaborate and work closely with the firm's broader compliance team. Primary responsibilities will include: developing, updating and maintaining compliance policies and procedures; forensic testing of compliance policies and procedures; managing conflicts of interest policies; staff member training; assisting with regulatory examinations; assisting in the production and completion of the annual CCO report; assisting with marketing and advertising reviews and responses to due diligence questionnaires; drafting, updating and monitoring of US and foreign regulatory filings; and Other assignments, as requested. In performing these responsibilities, the Compliance Analyst will routinely engage with various groups within the firm, including Legal, the Investment Team and Senior Management. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. 3-7 years of relevant operational compliance experience at an investment management firm. Working knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act required.
