Are you a HRIS Analyst who wants to help transform APL's HR systems into a robust infrastructure for our internal human resource functions, the staff and our leadership? Do you have the determination and drive to learn new applications and work across multiple platforms? Are you highly skilled in helping various Human Resource functions advance their operations through system and business process improvements? If so, we're looking for someone like you to join our HRIS Analytics and Applications team at APL. We are looking for a HRIS Analyst team member to actively participate in helping us achieve our organizational objectives by evaluating our current Human Resource application platforms and processes. Our goals are to optimize our current investments and make recommendations for new applications so as to improve operations and enhance the user experience. You'll be joining a team of analysts and developers who are focused on the future while addressing the complexities of our current design. We strive to provide extraordinary customer support, creative problem-solving abilities to deliver straightforward solutions to our customers in fairly complex environment. As a member of our team, you will influence the next generation of HRIS applications and business processes. As a HRIS Analyst your primary responsibilities will be that of a systems / business analyst within our current PeopleSoft / Saba / Taleo environments. You will work across all functions supporting senior analysts supporting benefits administration, compensation and talent acquisition and learning. You will also play a meaningful role in the configuration of HRIS solutions and implementing and integrating our new HR applications. You will be responsible for the following: Understanding how to configure and effectively utilize the capabilities of HRIS applications Gathering and documenting business requirements Performing fit/gap analysis Supporting the translation of business needs into technical requirements Evaluating and recommending the best approach, and Ensuring all associated parties are involved and kept informed throughout the project lifecycle You will also be involved in other duties will include developing queries/reports, documentation, project planning and research. You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have: 2 years of business systems analysis experience with proven understanding of HR information systems such as PeopleSoft, Workday or Saba/Cornerstone A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources or other relevant field. The ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of constituents Demonstrated capability to quickly lead new applications to support business function requirements Competence to synthesize difficult concepts and clearly describe them to non-technical users Possess a working knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements that affect Human Resources You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have: A Business Systems Analysis, PMI-PBA certification or other relevant certification A Master's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources or other relevant field Experience with large scale business process redesign Why work at APL?
