We re looking for a Chief Financial Officer for our 20-person office who is aligned with our small business, Lehigh Valley values, and principles. An upcoming retirement from a 30+ year employee is leading to this opening for an experienced professional to lead our Finance and Human Resources Functions. As a member of the senior leadership team, the CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, legal, and all related financing activities. This role will also have responsibility for overseeing Human Resources Duties within the business, including employee benefits & retirement planning, forecasting staffing needs, and regulatory compliance. In this position, you ll have the opportunity to: Provide hands-on leadership to the management of the finance and accounting functions of the organization. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for Human Resources, Financial and Tax reporting. Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges. Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the organization. As an executive level liaison with our CPA and banking relationship(s), establish and maintain strong partnerships. Provide timely and accurate reporting, analysis, budgets, financial trend information, and forecasts. Make recommendations based on thorough analysis of industry and organizational trends and forecasts. Oversee the company s risk management for protection against property losses, potential liabilities, and contracts. Responsible for the communication systems and information technology, acting as an executive liaison for service providers. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions. Manage processes for financial forecasting, strategic planning, budgets and consolidated reporting for the Company. Requirements: BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA desirable. 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles. Experience in Banking (Consumer lending a +) & Insurance is preferred.
