This position will be based at a customer site in Fort Meade, MD Job Responsibilities: Provide ongoing network support, address availability issues and performance problems. Working under general direction must provide technical solutions to a wide range of issues. Install, configure, integrate, operate, maintain and update the wireless configuration layer of the network for various guest and other wireless networks to include operations, outage resolution, monitoring, configuration updates optimization, account management (creation, modification, deletion, aging/certificate re-issue, etc.), captive portal management, and 802.1X device certificate management. Operate and maintain the configuration layer of the wireless infrastructure to at least 99.9% uptime on a monthly basis and a MTTR of 2 hours. Configure, patch & secure Aruba ClearPass consoles in accordance with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG). Operate and maintain the Aruba ClearPass On-Board services on Aruba ClearPass consoles to provide mobile device configuration & provisioning, user accounts & on-boarding, captive portal and authentication services (eg 802.1X certificate-based authentication, GuestNet, etc.). Install, configure, operate and maintain Aruba ClearPass licenses as required to meet customer requirements and future growth. Plan and instantiate new wireless networks (SSIDs) along with associated authentication methods as prescribed by the Customer. Operate and maintain wireless network accounts (eg creation, modification, deletion, aging/certificate re-issue, etc.), on-board/provisioning portals and services, and endpoint health/compliance and quarantine capabilities for Aruba-based networks via Aruba ClearPass, OnBoard and OnGuard. Respond to after hours as needed based on restoral priorities established by the customer. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience (6 years). DoD Top Secret Clearance. 2+ years of networking and or wireless experience is required. Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP) certification preferred; Aruba experience required, DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA). Ability to interact with people at all levels resulting in a positive customer service experience. Strong written and verbal communications skills. A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
