Duties/Responsibilities :

  • Facilitates new hire onboarding and orientation to include coordination with hiring manager and IT Department
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new employee background checks
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations to include processing required documents to ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Performs customer service function related to employee benefits by answering employee requests/questions and confirms resolution of issue.
  • Reconciles monthly benefit statements and processes invoices
  • Assists with the preparation of annual performance review process and goals program
  • Assist with the administration and reporting for assigned HR Programs (tuition reimbursement, FMLA, ADA)
  • Scan and maintain employee records in HRIS system
  • Update and edit job descriptions
  • Assist with training programs
  • Other HR related duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of Human Resource related job experience
  • Strong team orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines without direct supervision

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Handle confidential information in a professional manner earning employee and leadership trust.
  • Skilled in principles of Human Resources administration to include basic knowledge of Federal and State regulations and ordinances
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Office and HRIS software (iSolved preferred)
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and reports related to benefits
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and leadership team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys the challenge of multitasking.

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at desk for data entry

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

Position requires full time In-Office core hour attendance
