The Project Manager/Regional Lead will manage Simulation Specialist services in support of the Army Medical Modeling and Simulation Training (AMMAST) Central Program Office (CPO).

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as liaison between the MTFD and DMMSO COR.
  • Assist simulation sites with train-the-trainer activities and basic equipment troubleshooting for the purpose of training new simulation staff.
  • Update simulation encounters and other identified metrics, forward, and coordinate this information to the AMMAST CPO/DMMSO as required.
  • Provide an orientation to simulation equipment and the training space and shall provide safety briefing to newly assigned personnel and students.
  • Ensure reasonable timelines of response, from time of customer request for operational/corporate support/assistance.
  • Respond within 3 business days and resolution of issues within 30 calendar days.
  • Notify AMMAST CPO/DMMSO of any deviation from this schedule prior to a missed response.
  • Coordinate site visits as needed with AMMAST CPO/DMMSO.
  • Prepare to meet all contract requirements and ensure incoming personnel is functionally trained and qualified on the full performance start date.
  • Develop and maintain an effective Quality Control Plan to ensure services are performed in accordance with the PWS.
  • Ensure all personnel performing work on the project, have and maintain the appropriate security and designation required.
  • Establish and implement methods of making sure all keys/key cards issued, are not lost or misplaced, and are not used by unauthorized persons.
  • Provide daily supervision and leadership of all project sites.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of program deliverables.
  • Motivates and leads a high performing team.
  • Maintain oversight over timecards, annual company training, and company program document repository.
  • Integrate with the Joint Simulation Environment and other collaborative simulation environments as needed to support Live, Virtual, and Constructive training events with U.S. Government, U.S. military or partner nation services for health care training and education.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer technology field (e.g. hardware, networking, helpdesk, etc.)
  • 3 years of management experience required
  • 3 years of experience in the military medical field OR 2 years' experience with the operation of patient simulation equipment.
  • Must have the ability to pass an in-depth background check.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with Army Medical Education and simulation processes, procedures, and methodology required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers courteously and professionally.
  • Possess strong ability to oversee the overall direction and reporting requirements of a medical simulation project, product delivery schedules, and interact with diverse population of contractor and government personnel.
  • Ability to support up to 10% of local, out of state, and weekend travel as needed.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Proficiency in MS software applications including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Internet and database applications.

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
