A highly qualified Lead Senior Software Developer shall coordinate teams and develop web and computer applications. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leadership , team building abilities, effective communications, analytical thinking, training staff, consulting with clients, training users, writing code, assigning tasks, monitoring team performance, solving technical issues, and testing products

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversees all aspects of the contract management including operational planning and execution
  • Coordinates day to day project activities between the vendor and the Government ensuring deliverables and schedules are maintained.
  • Manage contract and projects in compliance with customer plans and strategic briefs in relation to one or multiple projects, ranging from very low complexity to very high complexity.
  • Update the Government through all required meetings, briefings and contract administration documents required under this contract.
  • Ensure the quality control of all phases of software development outlined within Section 5.0 of the PWS. The emphasis is on analysis, coding, testing, documentation, acceptance and maintenance/sustainment phases; Hand-on experiences in various programming languages including .Net or MVC framework, SQL or T-SQL, HTML and/or HTML5, CSS and/or CSS3, XML, C#, JavaScript library experience, Bootstrap, Backbone, or other responsive framework, Web development, Microsoft SQL Server, Software Validation and Testing, Technical Writing, Systems Architect, SharePoint, Business Intelligence (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.), and Geospatial.
  • Interact with customers and development team to gather and define requirements.
  • Analyze and study customer requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy their needs.
  • Design, create, test, and maintain software and web based applications and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Follow a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques and adheres to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications (e.g., software reuse, modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault tolerant).
  • Coordinate creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent site design.
  • Ensure the quality control of all interfaces provided under the PWS.
  • Oversee the vendor engineering and maintenance of software and web development technical documentation.
  • Provide quality control of all software process management and configuration management throughout the software/web development lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent years of relevant experience) and 7+ year of experience as a Software or Web Developer
  • Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing JavaScript, HTML and or HTML5, CSS, XML languages specifically in front-end development
  • Experience in DOT Net frameworks
  • An active Security+ DOD 8570 compliance at IAT Level II
  • An active Secret clearance
  • Technical writing
  • A technical certification in the area of responsibility
  • Core business hours
  • Between 0700-1700 EST, Monday through Friday

  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
