Job Summary/Company: Our client, a professional organization representing medical professionals, is looking for a Project Manager - Educational Services to join its team. Qualified individuals will have a solid understanding and working experience with project management functions, particularly in the medical education space.

Responsibilities:
  • Determines work priorities, policies and operating procedures.
  • Interacts with others to advise on and facilitate the execution of programmatic and operational initiatives.
  • Manages the implementation and reporting of educational evaluations and other outcomes assessments to ensure the quality of educational programs.
  • Day-to-day management of projects, including live and online Continuing Education (CE) activities and other special projects for a variety of audiences.
  • Manages development and distribution of educational materials including, presentation materials, online surveys and collateral materials for projects ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Develops and monitors project timelines that identify and sequence all the detailed tasks to ensure projects are completed on time and at the highest quality.
  • Manages timely and professional communication with necessary stakeholders.
  • Coordinates live and online educational activities and resources working collaboratively with a project team.
  • Executes an effective marketing and communications strategy for program promotion and audience generation, as applicable.
  • Ensures projects comply with applicable accrediting bodies.
  • Communicates project risks including providing quality options for solutions to prevent projects from getting off track.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree plus a working knowledge of the theories and principles of English, Journalism, or related field or discipline in pharmacy, business, project or association management.
  • Requires a minimum 3-5 years of prior experience in medical education project management.
  • Mastery of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proficiency with Project Management tools - Asana highly preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely from a home-based office until the end of the pandemic. After that, ability to work out of the Bethesda, MD office and travel up to 20% of the year.
