Company Job Title: Foreign Disclosure Representative

Clearance: TS/SCI

Location: Washington DC Metro

Reports To: VP Operations

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full Time

Summary:

Kapsuun Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Foreign Disclosure Representative (FDR) to support Foreign Disclosure Officers (FDO) with subject matter expertise and functional knowledge to ensure proper dissemination of classified and controlled information. The FDR will contribute to a team ensuring foreign disclosure policies, techniques and procedures are applies completely, correctly, and accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with categorization of Classified Military Information (CMI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
  • Assist with sanitizing and ensuring proper classification of requirements, collection, reports, and items for release via secure networks
  • Assist with processing backlog requests
  • Maintain database and metrics using format specified by the customer
  • Prepare weekly and monthly status reports
  • No supervisory responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • Prior experience as a Foreign Disclosure Officer is highly preferred; basic DoD FD understanding and training is required
  • Ability to independently discuss, apply, and/or recommend accurate determination on disclosure of information is required
  • Knowledge and understanding of National Disclosure Policies and government guidance and direction is required
  • Active in-scope TS/SCI clearance is required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in IC and DoD policies and procedures for determining the reliability of classified information
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal with oversight and direction
  • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner, both verbally and non-verbally, with strong grammar skills

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
