Job Description

Job Duties:

Design, develop, implement, maintain, and support The Washington Post's financial and human capital management (HCM) software systems (primarily Workday). Design, develop, and test integrations between different benefits vendors and The Washington Post's Workday module implementation. Provide post-implementation support for Workday benefits business process analysis by mapping solutions to business requirements, enhancement requests, and fixes. Create custom reports; manage inbound and outbound integrations for benefits; and gather talent and human resources management system (HRMS) modules data between the Workday HR system and other internal applications, including Single Sign On, GuidePost, Kastle, and third-party providers. Deploy best practices in methodology; determine business objectives; improve integrations between system and processes; identify technical and functional requirements; and develop project estimates and systems. Complete technical designs for enhancements and support activities and develop and test applications based on the Workday system. Job is in Washington, DC.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering plus 5 years of experience as a Software Developer or Programmer Analyst (or Master's plus 3 years of experience in the same); 3 years of experience in each of the following: software development life cycle projects; Workday integrations; the following programing languages: Java, XSLT, XML, XPATH, SOAP, and RESTful web services; and Agile and Scrum methodologies.

All experience may be concurrent.
