The Finance Administrator will facilitate the process of moving projects from initial proposal through contract execution for all clinical trials. This will include but is not limited to review and approval of the Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement, cost and feasibility analysis, coverage Analysis and contract execution. The Finance Administrator will also assist investigators with study participant registration, study participant payments, internal patient billing payment, study invoicing, and sponsor payments. The Manager of CTO will assist in the development and maintenance of operating procedures.


Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Public Administration or other related field. (Required)

Master's Degree - Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Public Administration or other related field preferred. (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience
5 years - Progressive clinical trials management experience. (Required)

At least 1 year supervisory or 2 years administration/team leader experience in related job function. (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices. Strong knowledge of FDA and other regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a matrix environment. Ensure compliance with organizational and departmental policies and procedures, and regulatory standards. Experienced in department budget and interpersonal communication preferred.

Functional Accountabilities

Department Strategic Planning
1. Contribute to the strategic plan for department services, include short-term and long-term objectives.
2. Collect and analyze customer feedback and evaluate service/department effectiveness.

Program and Service Administration and Implementation
1. Implement strategic plan through management of day-to-day operations of department, division or service area.
2. Collaborate with upper management to evaluate current as well as new program initiatives for effectiveness, feasibility and cost.
3. Compile and analyze data to support upper management decision-making.

Staff Relations and Administration
2. Manage workload to ensure efficiency.
4. Assist in Management of Clinical trial enrollment database.
5. Participate in study initiation meetings.
6. Provide ongoing compliance training in collaboration with other offices within the Children's Research institute.

Financial Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive cost analyses
2. Assists with revenue cycle research billing

3. Completes financial audits as needed

4. REsponsible for Coverage Analyses

1. Speak up when team members appear to exhibit unsafe behavior or performance
2. Continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation
3. Stop in the face of uncertainty and takes time to resolve the situation
4. Demonstrate accurate, clear and timely verbal and written communication
