HR Accounting Analyst sought for a large and well-respected trade association in the heart of Downtown DC.

Duties include: Provide support to all HR accounting operations; responsible for annual preparation and analysis of Cooperative Savings Plan and HRA Plan contributions; run budget and financial reports; responsible for benefit plan financial reporting; prepare and analyze needed schedules for the completion of EEI's annual Form 5500 reports and 990 filings, and GAAP audit; serve as the backup for payroll processing and other duties as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration
  • 1-3 years of accounting and financial transactions experience
  • Excel expert level, experience with pivot tables, vlookup and index match
  • Ability to set priorities in a demanding work environment, strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and resourceful, able to work independently and demonstrated the ability to respond to a variety of multiple tasks and situations
  • A productive member of a team, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
