Responsibilities include:
  • Serve as Legal Administrative Assistant to the General Counsel providing general legal and administrative support.
  • Help manage the implementation of budget and accounting practices for the division.
  • Administer the Standards of Conduct and Anti-Manipulation training programs, including marketing and customer service, invoicing and contract administration and day-to-day vendor oversight.
  • Coordinate vendor fulfillment of customer requests, including new customer set-ups, customization, and upgrades.
  • Provide meeting planning and registration services for meetings.
  • Manage continuing education registration in over 30 states.
  • Maintain accurate and timely Legal Committee and related member contact lists.
  • Prepare and process accounting and budget items; serve as budget coordinator


Job Requirements

  • Degree strongly preferred.
  • Two years of legal assistant or administrative experience.
  • Excellent management skills for overseeing projects, electronic databases, and contract management.
  • Strong computer skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a large volume/variety of work.
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information; and work independently but seek assistance when appropriate and necessary.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to edit and finalize complex commercial and legal documents.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under stressful situations.
  • Excellent proactive problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Ability to work with employees at every level throughout the organization and at member companies, including executive officers and staff.
  • Excellent meeting planning skills and customer service skills.
