Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Program Manager of Diversity and Inclusion who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

The Program Manager of Diversity and Inclusion reports to the Executive Director and
is responsible for developing and implementing approaches to support an equitable and just culture, create a sense of belonging, leverage workforce diversity, and promote inclusive leadership.

As a Program Manager of Diversity and Inclusion, you will:

• Cultivate and advance equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in alignment with Adventist HealthCare's Mission and values.
• Lead diversity and inclusion programs, builds innovative practices, and creates equitable policies.
• Consult on barriers and opportunities to advance EDI throughout the employee lifecycle (from recruitment to development, promotion, and retention).
• Conduct research, analyze data, and benchmarks across other organizations to identify and share best practices to advance EDI in the workforce
• Review and manage EDI action plan
• Monitor and report diversity and inclusion metrics
• Review policies, procedures, and programs
• Support the EDI Steering Committee; and advises subcommittees or employee resource groups

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources or related area with professional level industry certification preferred.
• Minimum of five years in developing, implementing, and managing diversity and inclusion or cultural competence programs; and evaluating and reporting outcomes required.
• One or more years supervising employees preferred.
• Strong understanding of concepts and metrics related to diversity and inclusion, cultural competence, and bias as well as education and training methods
• Strong understanding of EEOC, civil rights and other legislation related to anti-discrimination/anti-racism
• Experience working with people with diverse backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, and perspectives
