Employer Name: MAXIMUS, Inc. Position Title: Senior Analyst - Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Location: Reston, Virginia I: Essential Job Functions: Use knowledge and experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to: - Collaborate with Functional teams, subject matter experts, and end users to elicit business needs and technical requirements - Prepare comprehensive development specifications and plans for introduction of new applications or functionality - Test new system features and releases and evaluate impact to integrations and reports Apply understanding of Workday HCM, Workday Integrations and Report Writer and Workday Business Process configuration, use tools such as Workday's El B's, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Studio, and exercise development skill set, to: - Design, build and deploy inbound and outbound Workday data integrations in the HCM, Compensation and Benefits, Learning, Talent, Performance and other modules/domains as they are deployed, and with 3rd party systems - Prepare EIBs and load data into Workday and teach others how to do this effectively - Develop and implement a wide range of complex Workday reports and dashboards including defining, creating and enhancing complex calculated data fields - Work closely with team members to define HRIS processes and technical standards, share knowledge with other team members and system users - Define, create, modify and enhance Workday business processes to meet technical and business need to include year-end processes like Open Enrollment, ACA and W2 - Support semi-annual Workday releases and other Workday process and functionality improvements Use skills obtained in the areas of Web Applications (XML, XSD, XSLT, XPATH, JSON, J2EE, HTML, CSS and DHTML) and Web Services (SOAP Ul / Ready API), to: - Extract data from other systems such as Deltek/Costpoint, iCIMS, Cornerstone on Demand and a number of in-house developed applications for the purposes of analysis, benchmarking (internal and external), and data analytics - Support and enhance current integrations and monitor integration error logs to ensure successful end-to-end transfer of clean, high-quality data II: Experience or Qualifications Required: • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience as a Workday Consultant • Alternative Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Workday Consultant. • Experience must have involved use of: Calculated Fields, EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connector, XML, XSLT, Workday Report Writer, Workday Security, Web Services and Cloud Connectors technologies; Workday HCM, Security Roles and Groups and Reporting; Workday Supervisory Organizations, Cost Centre and Cost Centre and Location Hierarchies; Workday Business Processes and Definitions. III: Educational Requirements: • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience as a Workday Consultant • Alternative Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Workday Consultant.
