Adventist HealthCare Home Care Service seeks to hire an experienced Home Health Scheduler for our Silver Spring office who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Home Health Scheduler you will:
• Collaborates with agency schedulers to make sure scheduling functions are coordinated for the agency
• Ensures all patient visits are accounted for and scheduled including collaborating with other schedulers as needed
• Collaborate with other schedulers to manager scheduling needs, communicates process improvements to lead scheduler for patient scheduling
• Cross trained to assist with data-entry, clinical records, physician order processing, and medical supplies
• Assist with orienting new schedulers as assigned, communicates with branch leaders and schedulers any staffing concerns and patients that are unassigned
• Clearly communicates any hand offs to other schedulers, efficiently and timely management of workflow tasks in EMR System

Qualifications include:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree/Associates preferred
• Minimum 2 years medical or healthcare office experience preferred
• Medical Office Scheduling experience preferred
• Knowledge and ability to perform scheduling and review functions in EMR software
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
