UM Department seeking RN with clinical experience in Interqual/MCG. Med/Surg and ICU level of care.

Work Schedule:

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Case Manager, Utilization Review candidate who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Case Manager for Utilization Review, you will:
•Assures compliance with standards; i.e. CAHO, COMAR, HIPAA, Federal and State Regulations
•Conducts pre-authorization as needed; performs concurrent and continued stay reviews.
•Prepares and submits medical record for appeal
•Assists the treatment team with information related to discharge planning and obtains authorization as needed
•Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients

Qualifications Include:

• MD RN

• Good time management skills

• Can type 50 wpm

• Good clinical assessment skills
