Associate Administrative Director

The George Mason University, Student Health Services Department invites applications for the Associate Administrative Director position. Responsibilities: * Provides direct and continuous management oversight for fiscal, Office and Billing management, facility management, and immunization and insurance office management (both offices essential to fill state mandated requirements), for Mason's Student Health Services; * Collaborates with the Clinic Coordinator and Associate Medical Director for internal procedures; Executive Director for external collaborations or large scale SHS changes to develop and revise Health Service policies and procedures in compliance with accepted accreditation standards for student health services; * Responsible for supervision of the administrative staff, and budget management. Required Qualifications: * Master's degree in a related field (Nursing Administration, Health Care Administration, Health Systems Management); * 5 years of related experience; * Supervisory experience; * Finance and Budget experience. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with writing policies and procedures; * Recruitment experience; * MOU and contract management, authorizing expenditures for supplies, and appropriate staffing; * Goal development; * Basic computer skills; * Ability to mediate concerns or complaints that might be expressed by students or parents.
