Adventist Healthcare is now hiring an Education Specialist to join our Clinical Documentation Team!

The Education Specialist will be someone who embraces our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
This person will provide clinical informatics education for nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Will serve as the Subject Matter Expert and Resource in clinical documentation to nursing staff. This Clinical Documentation Education Specialist will support our Nurse Residency Program.

As an Education Specialist/Clinical Documentation Specialist you will:
• Provide Clinical Informatics Education
• Rounding on staff (Nurse Residents) to reinforce classroom learning
• Provide feedback to staff on audits completed in EMR system

Qualifications Include:
• BSN Degree, MSN preferred
• Two (2) years of Nursing experience in an acute care setting
• One (1) year experience in Clinical Informatics/EMR system (Cerner)
• Experience as a Cerner superuser or preceptor (preferred)
• RN License issued by State of Maryland
