What we are searching for: We seek a full-time senior contracts manager with expertise in facilities and construction. What you will do: This role manages the contractual support and administration for Facilities and Construction, under the direction of the Sr. Director of Procurement and Contracts. Manage RFP, RFI, RFQ issue, and requests. Renewal and termination of contracts. Proactive planning with construction, facilities, and finance departments. Draft, edit, and negotiate contracts. Manage the agreement process for Facilities Service Agreements, Construction and Architecture Management Agreements and Consulting Agreements. Manage a small team of contract analysts. Basic Qualifications (Required): A history of managing the contract process of small to midsize construction projects AND ideally some construction project experience. Knowledge of facilities contracts: purchase and negotiating and competitive bidding of facilities equipment: boilers and chillers, building security systems, and maintenance and service agreements associated with a central plant or a facilities department from vendors. Facilities and construction contract experience: demonstrative experience writing, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with a strong understanding of contract structure, liability, and indemnification. Experience in terminating contracts. Ability to add value as a leader of a small team of contract analysts. Bachelors degree Preferred Qualifications: Make Accurate Judgments and Decisions. Acquiring and Analyzing Information. Championing Customer Needs. Prioritizing and Organizing. Address/resolve contractual issues on time. Self-starter with a strong desire to contribute and work collaboratively to achieve goals. Masters degree Relocation assistance is not available.
