This challenging position will require adaptability and quick thinking to solve problems. As IT Operations Project Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives. The Project Manager responsibilities include delivering every project on time and within budget.Must have active DoD issued Interim Top Secret Clearance or Higher !Key Responsibilities:Defining configuration specifications and system analysis requirements.Oversee management of network switches, routers, phones, wireless access points and other networking hardware at home office and remote locations.Own and develop relationships with business users.Help and oversee design, document and maintenance of IT system processes.Manage internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.Ensure resource availability and allocation.Schedule staff for adequate coverage at auctions and home office.Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation. Requirements Highly organized and have the ability to prioritize workload and manage responsibilities effectively without losing attention to detail.Excellent ability to communicate both progress and impediments to stakeholders within the organization.Solid technical understanding of modern information technology systems.Ability to lead multiple resources to achieve common goals.Calm and objective approach when under pressure.Passionate about learning and always looking to sharpen skills.Experience planning and implementing hardware and software rollouts to maximize uptime and availability.Natural ability to teach and train users via written documentation and in-person sessions.Working knowledge of Microsoft software applications and services including Server OS, Workstation OS, Active Directory and Microsoft Office applications.Working knowledge of virtualization software and systems (VMWare, Hyper-V and Xen).Openness to choose the right tool to achieve the best solution for the company.Education / Certification / Security Clearance Requirements:BS Degree and 8 years experience or equivalent PMP Prefered About Unisys Do you have what it takes to be mission critical?Your skills and experience could be mission critical for our Unisys team supporting the Federal Government in their mission to protect and defend our nation, and transform the way government agencies manage information and improve responsiveness to their customers.
