We are looking for a candidate with proven record of guest service and people management experience with luxury hotels, willing to advance in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include: Provide strong leadership supporting a highly motivated and trained staff. Respond to and follow through on guest requests, concerns and problems. Ensure that excellent customer service is a hallmark of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments. Maintain or exceed standards of cleanliness and a consistently positive guest experience Manage staff through interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, development, empowerment, coaching and counseling of staff. Manage outside vendors and inspect and monitor work of contracted labor. Responsible for developing budgets, forecasting, financial planning and controlling costs of the department. Supervise and conduct daily detailed inspection of guest rooms, public areas and back of the House. Recommend special activities, promotions or procedures to meet competition, increase business or improve services as well as changes/ innovations. Requirements: Associates or Bachelors degree required. Minimum 5 years of management experience with at least 3 years in Housekeeping management in a luxury hotel environment.
