As the Marketing Team Leader of Pursuits, you will report to the Regional Marketing Manager and help lead the team in producing winning proposal documents and effective marketing communications materials in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate the overall workload of the decentralized regional marketing team, balancing assignments and ensuring schedules are met. You'll be responsible for leading strategic pursuit teams, conducting editorial and compliance reviews of marketing materials, and participating in go/no-go decisions. You may directly supervise less experienced marketers, helping them grow their skillsets and strengthen their writing and theme development skills. Responsibilities: * Assists Regional Marketing Manager with activities related to the day-to-day administration of the staff. Serves as an expert resource and provides technical guidance to other marketers. * Coordinates the overall workload of the marketing team, balancing assignments and ensuring schedules are met * Assists the Regional Marketing Manager in the ongoing development and refinement of quality assurance and quality control procedures for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Marketing Team and serves as a quality control reviewer of marketing materials. Reviews materials for themes, grammar/spelling, and compliance with RFPs. Works with marketers to incorporate edits into materials to strengthen documents. Promotes adherence to VHB Style Guide. * Leads large or complex proposal efforts. Works with other marketers to ensure schedules are met and various components of the proposals are accurate and delivered in a timely manner. Leads strategy sessions. Leads shortlist interview presentation strategy development and preparation of materials. * Works with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies through capture plans and Proposal Management Plans (PMPs). Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings. Directs/leads the development of pre-sell materials, proposals, presentations, etc. * Participates in Client Focus Teams (CFTs) by attending and contributing to CFT meetings and by providing support to CFT Leaders in the preparation of materials for specific client-focused activities. * Maintains VHB brand standards across all marketing efforts. * Participates in and helps lead marketing team meetings, workshops, and professional development activities.
