JustinBradley's client, a fintech start-up company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic, fast paced organization. As part of a small team, the Senior Accountant will participate in all day to day accounting and finance activities and gain exposure to analysis for forecasting, budgeting and revenue recognition purposes. With a clear path for growth, the Senior Accountant will need to successfully collaborate with management and across various business and operational teams. A' Highlighted Responsibilities Produce financial packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis; Assist with implementing company-wide revenue accounting policies and practices to ensure compliance with ASC 606; Assist with month-end reconciliation of all revenue, unbilled accounts receivable and deferred revenue accounts, and analyze fluctuations in these accounts; Review and/or prepare work papers, portfolio schedules, accruals, allocations, financial statements and footnotes, monthly bank recs, as well as quarterly management fee calculations; Review and/or prepare of capital calls and distributions, various client correspondences, as well as waterfall and capital account allocation; Liaise with external tax service providers to support the completion of the fund's tax returns and other tax documents; and Monitor KPI' s on an ongoing basis, including common SaaS, subscription, and recurring revenue metrics such as LTV/CAC, MRR, etc. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant experience in financial services and/or fund administration combined with a major in another field: CPA strongly preferred; Working knowledge of GAAP, ASC606, and tax issues related to partnership accounting; 5 years of experience with month-end close, financial statement preparation and corporate forecasting and budgeting activities; and Ability to function in fast paced high-pressure environments.
