Job Description:

Do you love to learn new technology systems? Do you like helping people to get the most out of their technology tools? Do you enjoy getting into a detailed conversation with users to understand how their business unit operates and how technology can help them? Do you enjoy a work day with wide variety where you sometimes brainstorm solutions with your co-workers and sometimes you quietly dig into a piece of SQL code, a test plan, or a system configuration? Do you enjoy the interaction with users to test the solutions and watch the problems get resolved right in front of you? Do you get satisfaction from seeing people be more efficient, productive or effective because you helped them? Are you looking for a position where you can grow your technical skills in a friendly and collaborative team?

The Kennedy Center is currently seeking a Business Systems Coordinator!

Duties and Responsibilities:

40% Learn a variety of business systems from both the functional and technical perspective; provide assistance, training and documentation to end users; troubleshoot issues and identify solutions or workarounds; implement bug fixes;

30% Understand the business process and challenges of end users; translate needs into technical enhancements or improvements; support development of improvements and delivery to end users;

30% Perform configurations, routine maintenance and support of systems, including internal IT systems

N/A Responds to the needs and requests of Kennedy Center management and staff in a professional and expedient manner; Adheres to all employer policies and procedures.

N/A Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or similar technical area
  • 2+ year's experience in administering or acting as a key user of a CRM, ERP, or database system, or equivalent education
  • Experience with SQL or any data programming language a plus

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate in person and on the telephone. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel in order to operate computer keyboard, office equipment, and other essential tasks. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. This position frequently lifts, carries, or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is normal.

No travel required.
