RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in Reston, Virginia (VA) is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst, Staff. Key Role: * Perform timely and accurate processing of employee and vendor expenses and disbursements under general supervision Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed Research, analyze, and resolve account discrepancies and provide necessary supporting documentation Perform job functions in accordance with existing AP policies and procedures Assist month-end accounting close functions, including supporting sub-ledger reconciliations for applicable accounts REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or related field with 1-2 years of relevant experience or HS diploma with 3-4 years of relevant experience Experience with Costpoint is strongly desired Experience with accounting and federal contracting regulations (eg GAAP, CAS, FAR, FTR, JTR) desired Experience with AP-related business systems, including SAP Concur, Unanet Vtime, and Wells Fargo P-cards, desired Other relevant qualifications: High proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel; ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities; meet tight deadlines which may require working outside of standard work hours as necessary; excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills; strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
