Graphic design manager Responsible for the look and feel of all creative work produced by ICMA. Sets the design and quality standards for print, digital, video, and other creative media to be executed by design contractors and staff. Identifies and nurtures design partners, assigning work based on skills needed, budget, and schedule. Works closely with key members of Outreach Team to set and enforce brand standards. Works with internal clients to set creative strategy and manage process including adhering to timelines and budgets. * Collaborates on creative vision and develop design products for marketing campaigns while upholding established brand standards. Work closely with project managers to ensure that marketing materials and programs have impact and attain the desired result. . Conceptualize process to its implementation stage and finally till the delivery of the product or service. One of the additional duties of a graphic design manager is to perform business development jobs or sometimes in selling the team's portfolio to companies looking for designing services. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Oversee process of identifying and nurturing relationships with design contractors. Supervise external design and production experts including budgeting, planning, and quality control. Deal with the client and be the point of contact. Oversee that new techniques and processes are used to provide best quality of designs Suggest new ways of improving the quality of designs and other project issues Leverage creative and marketing knowledge to develop new creative campaigns for specific targets Work in collaboration with colleagues across different departments WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Five+ years of experience in graphic designing/project management Excellent creative and innovative skills Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills Strong project management and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills and effective relation building capacity with client, partner and internal team at different levels in the organization Knowledge of interactive design including best practices in technology, usability, and user experience Must be detail oriented and well organized Strong delegation power Ability to use strong analytical and artistic approach to solve complex issues Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize different tasks Your Educational Background should include: A graphic design manager requires to complete his/her bachelor's degree in fine arts, along with a minimum three years of work experience as a graphic designer. A master's degree is preferable for this position to be proficient in managerial functions.
