Position Description: Consultant Architect We are looking for a candidate with min. 5 years experience in residential design & construction detailing. Candidate must demonstrate experience & knowledge of wood frame construction. Perform field documentation of existing conditions and produce existing condition drawings. Primary function will be the preparation of design development drawings and construction documents. Perform construction site visits and material research. Coordination with vendors and engineering professionals. Attend client/contractor meetings. Qualifications: Experience single famaily residential construction critical!! You must demonstrate knowledge of wood frame construction and detailing. Architecture Degree. Attention to detail, organized and good writing and communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD required. Knowledge of ArchiCad, Photoshop, InDesign and basic hand sketching/rendering a plus. Relaxed, low maintenance personality important.
