As the Director of Leadership & Annual Giving you: Are responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive leadership and annual giving program for the Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Foundation, Inc. Develop cultivation, solicitation, and recognition strategies for prospects with the capacity to give up to $50,000. Are responsible for the strategy, messaging, and execution of print/digital mail that supports the leadership & annual giving program. Establish and run annual donor recognition programs. Promote and maintain positive relationships with donors, staff, physicians, clinicians, and patient families. Collaborate with the Director of Development to develop annual and leadership level prospects for the health system. Work with the Director of Development to develop annual fund raising event guidelines. Establish measurable goals, benchmarks, time lines, and budgets for the Leadership and Annual Giving program. Determine appropriate solicitation populations and implement strategies to maximize donor acquisition and retention. Requires: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of non-profit fundraising experience with demonstrated success building and growing leadership and annual giving programs in a large and complex environment. Knowledge of fund raising theories, principals, concepts, and techniques, program planning and evaluation, strong oral and written communication skills, and advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and internet use. Problem solving and conceptual skills sufficient to make recommendations and implement fund raising strategies for annual and leadership program. Interpersonal skills sufficient to effectively interact with a wide variety of Sheppard Pratt employees, physicians, and community leaders; speak knowledgeably and persuasively on behalf of Sheppard Pratt to potential donor foundations and individuals, vendors, patient's families. Meeting deadlines, responding promptly to donor requests for information, and managing the demands of multiple projects.
