SUMMARY: CADD Microsystems is searching for an individual who enjoys working with the latest modeling technologies and understands the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Owner (AECO) process. A Revit / BIM Specialist will have the opportunity to provide consulting the latest Revit and BIM technologies to our public and private sector customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following abilities: Configuring Revit and AutoCAD including installations, deployments, license management, enterprise customizations, to meet customer needs Provide expertise to customers for developing CAD/BIM standards, including: organization, layering, plotting, templates, symbols. Be able to understand and create BIM Requirements documents, BIM Project Execution Plans, modeling workflows, and overall business process improvements around BIM Assist customers with migrating to newer versions of Autodesk products Work with customers to analyze their current processes and requirements for Revit and AutoCAD The tasks to be performed by the Revit / BIM Specialist include the following: Product Maintenance Assistance with successfully deploying Autodesk products to the individuals and teams. Project Team Assistance Assist project teams with tasks related to Revit and other Autodesk products, standards, and workflows. Coordination Assistance Assisting design and construction teams with coordination of disciplines on projects. This includes, but is not limited to: Clash detection and reporting BIM project management BIM Documentation Create BIM Strategy plans, BIM Requirements, BIM Execution Plans, offer advice on oversight for these plans. Standards Development Assisting with developing standards related to Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and others. Content Creation Assisting with creating content for the Revit and AutoCAD including the following AutoCAD blocks, dynamic blocks, and styles Revit families Navisworks selection sets QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field or equivalent experience Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk software (ie AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, or associated product experience) Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting an Autodesk environment (AutoCAD-based and/or Revit-based, preferably both), including: setup, customization, user support, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical details coherently.
