We are looking for a senior level technical project manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills, current knowledge of federal contracting, and a focus on IT. Our ideal candidate will be a team leader with excellent communication; strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; and a willingness and ability to communicate easily with senior executive staff members within the US Government. EXPERIENCE LEVEL:. *15 years' experience in building IT platforms and 10+ years' experience in project management, program management, or technical management analytical support for Government contracts/programs or project portfolios. Master's degree in business, Economics, or Finance is a plus. JOB DESCRIPTION. You must be able to direct a room of differencing personalities and viewpoints. Willing to serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams both internal and external staff members. Technical training experience is a plus. Architect Sharepoint 2016 governance across multiple environments and business use cases supporting the US Census. Identify and integrate business and technical requirements, deadlines, and rapid deployment needs to a wide array of users within the contract. Lead and collaborate team solutions within the boundaries of Sharepoint architecture that the team has decided upon. This person will need a critical eye and ear to root out technical problems before they arise - primarily focused around integration. Prioritize technical and business requirements based on the urgency of the request, the overall feasibility of the solution, and the impact to the overall US Census mission. Coordinate the daily taskings of the Sharepoint team. Ability to communicate well, understand technical concepts and answer technical questions. Senior level candidates are encouraged to apply. Represent and lead the team during discussions with internal customers as well as the external Government Customer. Exert knowledge to influence peer leads in matters of technical concepts and matters pertaining to Sharepoint. Develop and manage timelines that meet delivery requirements of all end users. Leverage ITIL and PMBOK processes to capture requirement, develop solutions, delivery and execution. Oversee Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports, determine service desk requirements and work with multiple teams to system health is maintained properly. REQUIREMENTS. Bachelor's degree and 15+ years required for consideration. May substitute education for related work experience. Knowledge of business information systems, computer science, program management, information technology, and federal government contracting. Strong understanding of SDLC and technology lifecycle and methodologies that support the lifecycle. Ability to absorb large amounts of information, develop goal oriented business plans and follow through with decisiveness in charting course forward. Ability to organize data, develop conclusions, and deliver solutions to technical and non-technical team audiences. Demonstrate oral, presentational and written communication abilities. Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week). Key Experience:. Experience with Sharepoint Designer and Sharepoint Web Developer. Ability to manage planned and ad hoc changes.
