The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers is looking for a Senior Marketing Director who will have oversight and broad responsibilities for all marketing initiatives/projects including strategic planning, brand strategy, development and delivery of fully integrated marketing campaigns that drive results for the organization. Responsibilities: Initiate, develop and direct strategic marketing and communications plans and budgets that support organizational goals and objectives. Supports the team in the creative process to ensure alignment with goals/objectives and initiate the creative briefs. Take a proactive role in helping to maintain and elevate The Council brand story. Ensure brand consistency and impact across all creative and distribution channels. Manage key relationships with all Council departments (ie, Membership, Meetings, Sponsorship, PAC, Council Academy, etc.) as well as partner brands. Lead digital marketing content alignment for the organization. Guide multichannel marketing efforts and oversee data driven strategy with analytics to formulate strategic plans. Evaluate and recommend improvement to the marketing technology stack for evolving organizational needs. Improve stakeholders' digital user experience. Help hone our target audiences and create strategies to effectively engage them. Manage and develop the marketing team to be strong advocates and growth leaders for the organization. Provide oversight of the projects and budgets that reinforce larger marketing initiatives. Develop the individual marketing plans (for print and digital) and execution of marketing activities with assistance of the team. Oversee external communications efforts including messaging and distribution that increase our visibility with key stakeholders and /or strengthen our brand. Spearhead and identify new opportunities and emerging technologies that support marketing efforts. Support and actively engage with The Council's Marketing & Communications Working Group (member focused). The right candidate will: Have an entrepreneurial spirit, be highly motivated and have a passion to deliver best-in-class, client-centric marketing. Be an effective communicator who is approachable, highly collaborative and has excellent people management and organization skills. Be detail oriented. Have the ability to manage change and handle problems head on. Be left brain/right brain: be creative along with solid analytical capabilities Have a minimum of 6 years of marketing experience and/or brand management with a strong digital background. Have a Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS). Be proficient in Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Understanding of research tools and digital marketing resources including marketing automation, digital tracking and social platforms.
