Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking an Application Technical Analyst to provide technical and analytical support as part of our project team located at the Department of State. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical skills/aptitude and will have experience with designing and problem-solving complex software systems. Experience with Federal Acquisitions is preferred, Federal financial ERP systems is a plus. The ideal candidate demonstrates independent analysis, is self-motivation and has the ability to drive and own tasks vital to project success. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with clarity, and be comfortably with all levels of CGI and client management as well as with other contracting staff. #BePartofCGIMomentum Your future duties and responsibilities:* Analyze, test, implement, build and deliver application architectures and improve automated processes.* Support software applications including troubleshooting installation issues and problems within the application itself. This may involve reading logs, making changes to the application, testing the changes, and reinstalling the application.* Assist and support the software development and release testing teams.* Understand the business needs of our client and help troubleshoot the technical issues at all tiers of the software stack.* Monitor and maintain the health and function of on-site development environments.* Software deployment, delivering technical process improvements, and custom script development, including writing custom SQL & Shell Scripts, and webMethods development and maintenance.* Perform data refreshes, move data volumes, and bring Oracle databases up and down.* Systems Integration monitoring and maintenance. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:* All applicants selected for hire must possess US citizenship and be eligible for a SECRET security clearance, per client requirements. An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration.* Bachelor's Degree in a technical major including, Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, etc. * Oracle Database technology or related database experience, including experience with SQL scripting and tuning.* Technical Analysis experience.* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.* Advanced problem-solving skills.* Growth-mindset and strong desire to learn. Desired Qualifications:* Momentum or other related Federal ERP experience.* Experience with one or more of the following: BMC Control-M; Splunk; UiPath; WalkMe; Java / JavaScript; PowerShell; SoftwareAG webMethods. * Automated deployment and provisioning software like Vagrant, Jenkins, Puppet, etc.* Microsoft Server OS Administration, including IIS.* NetApp storage architecture.* Cloud technologies, including AWS or Azure.
