The Senior Systems Engineer/Analyst will be responsible for providing technical engineering expertise, including all engineering activities required to design, implement, document, and support various hardware/software solutions. Your future duties and responsibilities:* As a member of a DevOps engineering team, partner closely with software development teams and operations teams, and be responsible for building and supporting CI/CD platforms, environment buildout and support, software build and releases, automation solutions, installing and configuring application software* Support application modernization, virtualization, and migration tasks with a DevSecOps mindset and culture* Develop build plans, code pipelines and create automated solutions that can be frame worked and re-used* Conduct engineering analyses on legacy environment, establish requirements, dependencies, and risks associated with transitioning systems* Support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of systems that deliver against strict requirements for functionality, scalability, performance, and reliability* Configuration management using client approved technologies (ie, Docker Enterprise Edition, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Splunk, etc.)* Benchmark, analyze, report on and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of systems and virtual infrastructure Required qualifications to be successful in this role:* Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related technical field or equivalent experience* Understanding of Agile, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) * Experience designing, developing, deploying, testing in the AWS ecosystem or similar cloud provider* Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) and supporting automated testing* Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Cloudwatch, Splunk* Good communication skills in a DevOps environment with the team, managers, and stakeholders.* Ability to embrace and focus on emerging technology and evangelize to the rest of the team* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Good Time management and organizational skills * Ability to tackle challenging work independently or in a team environment* Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and environments and keep current with industry certifications #CGIFEDERALJOB Skills:* Analytical Thinking* Business Acumen* Communication (Oral/Written)* DevOps* Leadership What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
