The target state for Container Orchestration Service is a cloud based Kubernetes service such as Amazon EKS with Fargate. In the interim state, app teams have a choice between a proprietary service (Amazon ECS with Fargate) and a Kubernetes based service. Building a Container Management platform is a strategic decision to deliver on a Cloud Computing vision of providing self-service based, completely automated and inherently resilient technology services for the business. Description The DevOps Engineer brings specialist IT and operations knowledge and experience to the team in order to bridge the gap between IT operations and application development. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent Your future duties and responsibilities: Build and deploy CICD pipeline with multiple technologies like Java * Must be well versed in creating CI/CD pipelines, build docker containers for the Java based application* Participate in technical design and choose the right tools such as AWS, Tomcat, WebLogic, and Spring Boot application * Implement standards, processes, and controls for release and deployment activities in DevOps space * Undergo best practice for version control for tools like Clearcase, SVN, GIT, and Bit Bucket * Experience in (Maven, ANT, Shell ), CI (Jenkins, Hudson, UCD, UCR ) and automation (VM Ware, Puppet, ServerSpec, Chef, etc.) * Experience in writing Docker files & creating images Required qualifications to be successful in this role:* 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in DevOps* 2+ working experience in AWS* Experience in Containers & Kubernetes is a must * Experience in Jenkins, SVN, Git, Maven, Gradle, Nexus, UCD, and UCR or similar * Experience in Urban Code Deploy/Release, XL Deploy/Release or * Similar Experience in AWS platform using CloudFormation, OpsWorks, * Shell scripting Desired qualifications* Terraform or similar good to have like Puppet, Chef or Ansible, Linux Skills:* Kubernetes* SVN (Subversion) What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
