Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Software Test Engineer. The Software Test Engineer will be the Lead Test Engineer. Lead Test Engineer will provide the Joint Health Risk Management (JHRM) Enhanced Capability Demonstration (ECD) Team with technical review and analysis of performer technical deliverables, and industry and DoD data models and interface specifications to inform the agile development approach of JHRM prototypes, integration strategies between existing and planned DoD information systems, and documentation of draft future requirements for acquisition. Tasks include: Lead all Information Technology (IT) and cybersecurity efforts for the JHRM ECD. Coordinate with and leverage support, as needed and as available, from JPEO CBRND, Defense Health Agency, and USSOCOM Chief Information Officer, J6/J65 divisions, and software support activities, as applicable. Plan, organize, execute and lead the Joint Health Risk Management (JHRM) Enhanced Capability Demonstration (ECD) Test and Evaluation Working integrated Product Team (T&E WIPT) and manage all action items and products that result from the WIPT. Work with multiple JHRM agile software development performers and the JHRM Operational Manager (OM) staff and independent assessors to plan and execute test, evaluation, assessment, and demonstration events to address the OM's Critical Operational Issues and support the military utility assessment (MUA) of JHRM software prototype capabilities in accordance with the JHRM ECD Integrated Assessment Plan (IAP). Assist with the technical review of and information exchange between multiple software developers and stakeholders (government offices and candidates) involved in the rapid prototyping of JHRM ECD information architectures, machine and user interfaces, applications, and algorithms related to environmental hazard exposure monitoring in deployed and tactically realistic training environments. Assist in the technical aspects of planning for transition of software prototypes to acquisition at the end of the JHRM ECD. Assist in the preparation and execution of the JHRM ECD Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), in-process reviews, and periodic reporting documentation by providing credible technical information. The candidate shall have the ability to create and present briefings to senior leaders, develop and present technical information to functional experts (reports and briefs), and orchestrate day-long integrated product team meetings. The candidate shall have a working understanding of Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 5000.02, DODI 8330.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and DOD IT standards and policies. Preferred: The candidate shall possess senior-level organizational, liaison, coordination, and facilitation skills. Preferred: Three (3) years of experience planning, analyzing, or executing information management / information technology development projects in Defense Health Agency (DHA), Military Health System (MHS), Service or United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) information systems and applications. Preferred: One (1) year of experience working with Nett Warrior (NW) or Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) applications. Requirements: The candidate shall possess six (6) years of experience with Army, other Department of Defense (DoD), coalition and / or federal government Information Technology (IT) systems development and implementation. The candidate shall possess at least two (2) years of experience planning, analyzing, or executing agile software development or rapid software prototyping initiatives. The candidate shall possess the ability to work on a multi-disciplined team in a DoD experimentation and acquisition environment. The candidate shall possess strong writing and oral communication skills. The candidate shall possess a minimum of three (3) years of working with Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in the effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD CLEARANCE; this will be verified prior to the interview. Therefore, only US Citizens can be considered for this position.
