Role Summary: The Regional Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Trainer/Manager will assist LGS Legacy Care in ensuring consistency in care team conduct, training, charting/record-keeping and standards across the region. To accomplish this, the Regional APP Trainer/Manager, will travel among LGS Legacy Care partner facilities to meet with care team members. The Regional Advanced Practice Provider Trainer/Manager will be relied upon as an expert in LGS Legacy Care systems, processes, patient care, charting and record keeping, expectations, standards, and will communicate and demonstrate these in each of our partner facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide training and support for primary providers throughout the region Assist in talent acquisition support as needed (conducting clinical interviews or shadow experiences for new applicants) Manage adherence with LGS Legacy Care processes, standards and procedures at the direction of the Regional Director Maintain a minimum of 120 clinical patient encounters per month. Ability to drive/travel Current Nurse Practitioner license/certification to practice in the state of Maryland in good standing with no pending disciplinary actions; Additionally, prefer current licenses for the states of Delaware and Virginia or ability to obtain Absence of restriction or pending restrictions on nursing license Masters of Nursing Supervisory Responsibilities Train and manage to the expectations as communicated from the Regional Director Core Competencies Commitment to Company values and ethics Dependability: Personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately Motivation: Must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy Creativity: Makes constructive suggestions and creates innovative solutions to problems Analytical Skills: Must be able to use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem solving Communication: Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills Flexibility-must be comfortable working in various environments Leadership Education and/or Experience 5+ years of experience in clinical setting, Masters of Nursing from accredited school Previous supervisory and training experience preferred Willingness to Travel Must be willing to travel throughout the region, primarily Maryland, but may occasionally include Delaware and Northern Virginia.
