Located not far from the Blue Ridge Mountains, and about an hour and a half from Washington, DC, this hotel has an exceptional history of providing a high level of customer service and a superior dining experience. In the absence of the General Manager, the AGM shall oversee all aspects of the resort's operation. As a part of the Executive Committee, the AGM is responsible for oversight of all operations of the resort including the Housekeeping, Food & Beverage front of the house, Maintenance, Floral, Grounds, and Retail Shops. This role will ensure that standards of service are met in all areas, serve as a representative for VIP guests, ensure accurate, thorough and timely communication with all departments prior to, during and after guest s stay. Develop revenue enhancement strategies for Rooms and Food and Beverage Departments. Knowledge and understanding of monthly Profit & Loss Statement. Ensure each department meets budgeted payroll and other expenses. Qualifications Candidates MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF LUXURY HOTEL LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE in both Rooms and Food & Beverage. Excellent communication skills and experience with Forbes 5-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Standards are required. The ability to speak a language other than English (particularly Spanish or French), certification of training in liquor, wine and food service, as well as previous formal culinary training, is highly desirable. The salary is based on experience, up to $125k.
