If Yes was the answer to those questions then we have a job that fits your skills! PrideStaff is working with a Herndon, VA based courier company looking for an exceptional Logistics Coordinator. Responsibilities: Logistics Coordinator Take job orders from clients, (including but, not limited to routing shipments, classifying of service type, establishing a deadline and printing the job order) Maintain a high level of quality data entry and record-keeping Provide clients with continuous notification and follow-up (including but not limited to flight and customs delays, proof-of-delivery, charges, problem resolution,) Work closely with other offices, service partners and Q/A representatives to ensure continuous follow-up Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients Includes understanding the client's internal requirements and nuances to better service their needs Demonstrate ability to work through problems with service partners, airlines and carriers with minimal assistance Review and check all documentation for domestic transport, export or import of international shipments Assist and provide guidance to the client and internal/external staff on specialized job orders, price quotes, billing questions or logistical areas such as warehousing, Dangerous Goods regulations, Customs, USDA, FDA or other government agencies Understand and embrace the company mission by providing the highest quality global transportation and logistics services for our customers Ensure compliance with all required training certifications What you get out of it: Logistics Coordinator Ability to earn $15 to $19 per hour based upon experience plus OT Gain knowledge in a company that provided the highest quality of global transportation and logistics services to customers. Essential Skills and Abilities Required: Logistics Coordinator Ability to identify and solve problems Ability to work Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday shift Strong interpersonal and communication skills Computer proficiency (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Time Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Knowledge of international & domestic airline routing, worldwide geography & time zones Strong team player Must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays Physical Demands: Logistics Coordinator The Employee is required to communicate with clients continuously via telephone & computer. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; balance & stoop. The employee is required to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to view computer monitors both at close range and distance. Join Us!
