Overview: Olgoonik is an engineering/construction company specializing in facilities construction, operations, and repair is seeking candidates for the position of Construction Project Manager for overseas construction work to be performed on multi-year projects at various sites. The Construction Project Manager primarily performs Construction Project Management functions such as project planning, scheduling, design management, mobilizing, quality control, safety, budgeting while meeting stakeholder expectations. Primary Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for the execution of multiple construction projects and task orders including, project planning, scheduling, design management, mobilizing construction crews, quality control, safety, and budgeting. Responsible, in conjunction with Program Manager, for manning projects, meeting customer expectations, preparing conceptual estimates, and bidding documents. Reviews subcontractor material, approved submittals, and shop drawings, and checks the construction deliverables for compliance. Coordination with field personnel, designers, customers on-site and at HQ, and corporate resources to ensure project success. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervisory responsibilities associated with this position may include supervision of professional, technical, clerical, and/or labor staff in support of the projects. Education and/or Experience: BS in Business / Engineering / Construction Management or related fields preferred. Five years of construction-related Project Management experience preferred. Additional related work experience may substitute for educational requirements. Experience with FEBR and TSS products/installation is a plus. Experience with general construction processes, Contractor Quality Control (CQC) process, and working in international environments a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: This position requires basic computer literacy; this includes the use of word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail programs. Working knowledge of construction software is preferred. Scheduling, estimating, construction accounting, and CAD programs will be utilized. Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team. Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Security Clearance: SECRET Level Required Must have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen. Must also be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance. Work Environment: Typically, work is performed in a general office environment; however, this position will be required to visit construction sites and be able to walk around construction sites and uneven ground, climb ladders, perform initial site investigations, and use basic hand tools.
