We currently have an assignment for a Project Engineer II (Construction). As a Project Engineer II (Construction), you will be supporting our client, one of the world's largest engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), maintenance and project management companies. The Project Engineer II (Construction) will join the project team supporting the construction of a large transit project. Job Responsibilities The Project Engineer II (Construction) will be responsible for managing and coordinating project activities that are in compliance with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness and profitability of the completed project. Other responsibilities include: Performing basic project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings and identification / evaluation of project issues and problems Assisting in management and coordination of activities among all project functions and engineering disciplines in accordance with the established project baseline Coordinating efforts of technical disciplines, vendors and licensors to ensure integrated and complete designs that meet project requirements and contractual requirements Supporting creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules and monitoring activities, progress and milestones against the plans Supporting creation and coordination of project effort hours, cost estimates and budgets and monitor progress and cost performance Supporting the preparation, delivery and coordination of project deliverables, design documents and bid packages Specific qualifications for the Project Engineer II (Construction) role include: Accredited four year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study 5 years minimum experience as a project engineer on a transportation or similar project 5 years minimum experience in engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction / construction management (EPFC / CM) industry Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheet, electronic presentation and project management tools Benefits Our client offers a comprehensive benefit package which includes: Paid Time Off Pail Holidays 401(k) Retirement Plan Medical Insurance Plan which includes prescription coverage Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability Build a better construction career with RealStreet and apply now!EOE M/F/D/V
